NorCal Army Mom: San Francisco Bay Area; I am the mother of "The Interested Soldier," another blogger and a captain currently serving his second tour with the U.S. Army in Iraq. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a former newspaper reporter and an editor, but this blog is just my writing and not connected to nor endorsed by any media outlet. It is meant to be complement to "Interested Soldier's" blog offering two perspectives military service in a war zone.
